Abbey has been a family run driving school in Bristol since 1982, and driving instructor Russ Jenkins who took it over 23 years ago is proud of maintaining a tradition of exceedingly high driving test pass rates. The pass rates are consistent in being over 80% every year compared to a national average of all driving schools of only 44%. This year alone Russ has had 14 pupils pass with only 1 failure equating to a 93.5% pass rate.

All this success is combined with patient and understanding tuition which puts pupils at ease. Russ only gives one-on-one tuition. Be assured that his prime concern is that the pupil will become a good and safe driver on our roads. Furthermore the driving lesson rates are kept at a reasonable and competitive price.

An optional Pass Plus course is available after passing the test which enables new drivers to obtain discounts on car insurance premiums. This consists of 6 lessons at our standard rate (many driving schools charge a higher rate for these lessons).
